ORIGINAL 1966 Canadian Club Whisky PRINT AD Maori Hurdle Races in New Zealand

There are a lot of whiskey ads out there in the vintage ad-iverse, but this one for Canadian Club is right up there with the most unusual and creative! New Zealand, hurdle racing with Maori friends, touting the spirit as being so smooth, you can “stay with it all evening long – in short ones before dinner, in tall ones after.” We like the cut of this guy’s jib 😉
We rescued this terrific ad from a 1966 news and culture magazine
and trimmed away any heavier age browning from the
edges. There is one tiny pin hole blemish under the number 1 in the text (mouse over photo). The ad is the inside back page so has seen more action, but overall it is still beautiful and will look great framed!  It’s
all set for you to mount, frame,
use
in your
crafting or throw in an acrylic frame or magnet back and decorate your
fridge, retro den or wherever you lean your oars.  😉
